How It All Started

From a little cart to our little shed — Fall 2025

A Little Shed with a Big Heart

Golden Sunset Flour Co. started the way most good things do — with a passion, a sourdough starter, and a little cart in the front yard on Sunset Drive.

What began as a weekend hobby quickly became something Grand Island couldn't get enough of. Amanda bakes everything from scratch using time-honored sourdough techniques, rotating seasonal flavors, and a whole lot of love.

"When the sign is out, come on by."

Every cinnamon roll, every boule, every batch of granola is made in small batches so you know it's fresh. And if you see the Sold Out notice — that just means you'll have to come back next weekend.

Stop By or Pre-Order

Find us at 2962 Sunset Drive, Grand Island. Open weekends 9am–7pm or until sold out. Pre-orders accepted Monday–Wednesday for the following weekend.

Pre-orders are accepted Monday through Wednesday for the following weekend. Amanda needs time to plan and bake — same-week orders can't be accommodated.

📅 How pre-orders work: Submit your order Monday–Wednesday. Amanda will text you by Thursday to confirm availability. She'll send a Venmo payment request to secure your items. Your order is confirmed once payment is received. Weekend pickup at 2962 Sunset Drive.
